Medium to full-bodied, it reveals great purity, richness, and elegance with impressive length. Now at peak maturity, it will continue to age beautifully for 15+ years. (2000 vintage)

Beautiful aromas of dried flowers, currants, bark, and tobacco, with hints of lead pencil. Full-bodied yet polished, with silky tannins and fresh, vibrant acidity. The finish is structured, with notes of cinnamon, clove, blackcurrant, and dark chocolate. Supple yet firm, this wine has depth and complexity. Give it five to six years to fully develop.
